Father Ryan High School is a co-educational, college preparatory, Catholic high school serving the Diocese of Nashville. Originally founded as Nashville Catholic School for Boys in 1925, Father Ryan has been driven by its mission to be an experience of the living Gospel while challenging students to reach their spiritual, academic, and personal potential.

With a high-quality, rigorous, academic program centered in the Catholic faith paired with unmatched extracurricular opportunities, the Father Ryan experience helps students reach their full potential. From 200+ courses across four levels of learning, Dual Enrollment, and our Hayes Scholars Program, students have the ability to customize their education to best meet their personal needs. Outside of the classroom, Father Ryan offers an expansive list of extracurricular opportunities from House System leadership to athletics, to participating in performing arts to volunteering in the community with one of our 25 local service partners.
